A meteor, an earthquake, a volcano, a what?
You only have a few minutes to gather everything near and dear to you
All of a sudden, a fire goes ablaze
You lost everything…
Your life and your family’s life is now drastically changed,
You are forced to start over
You vividly remember the moment and constantly relive it on a daily basis
Your dog somehow managed to escape
Everyone made it out alive, but now you have nothing except for your husband’s heart and the relationship with your family to count on…
The fire began to engulf the business next door
Your friends live nearby
The fire was put out by the rain
Your dog begins to howl at the sky
I think he’s asking for tragedy to stop
Could it be a war against ourselves?
How can something so short, so brief, so sudden, destroy everything and take lives away?
All you know is that you can’t change the past
Mother nature can cause tons of damage
Tragedy can end lives
Illness can sweep a nation
The damage is like a cancer that only affects so many, but most are lucky
You need to be more grateful
You need to be one who lives in the present, lives to enjoy each moment, and lives for the now
