Beautiful Noise (Revised)

This one definitely needed a revision, especially because I was trying to submit it somewhere that wanted a poem under 200 words about music... so here it is! Enjoy!

A swell sound that flows like a beautiful noise
Is never polluted
And seen as one of life's essentials…
Those who appreciate it have it gravitate to their hearts
Those who don't end up in a circuit of misunderstanding and confusion

Music is an oxymoron of life spawned from the sky
Utilizing nature to spark creativity
Enabling your mind to explore expanded galaxies
Triggering layers of abstract thought process
Pulsating throughout your body

Eluding from the sheer evil
Alluding to a distant presence only few can genuinely comprehend…
This mystical sound
Aids in triumph through struggles
With natural resolutions that heal life’s wounds from the heavens

Such a ravishing display
Provokes lavish sounds from fruitful beauty…
Whether it makes you smile like a sugar high
Or cry like a bursting dam
Emotions emerge within your freshly soothed soul

This beautiful noise
Glistens in your ears
While flowing smoothly across the atmosphere
Possessing a divine title coined as music
In order for all to indulge in life’s common language!

Solitude

Sometimes, people just want to spend some time by themselves for a little bit. I got into a creative mood, grabbed my stuff, and went outside. While sitting on a park bench, I was observing what was going on around me and in my head. With all of that, I poured it into this poem and how I was feeling that day. Enjoy!

It's just another summer day
Early July
And… I get some kind of an itch
A thought pulsating in my mind
That I just wanted some space away from the rest of the world for a couple hours…

I grab my laptop
I grab my car keys
I grab my purse
And dash out the door
Quiet as a mouse
To keep my secretive cover

Wind gently breezing upon me
I embark on a joyride
No one else in sight
I yearned for solitude
A feeling I never thought of even seeing
But it randomly struck me on the shoulder
Now I'm never turning back…

Driving feeling free
Across the open road
With only my spirits beside me
Seeking my one destination
Then I sit in solitude
Not a bother in sight

Where was this freedom all along?
Do I always need more than just myself
To provide me with the reassurance that I can be something?
I can sense and attain this mental praise
Just with some personal exploration
Not feeling lonely
Knowing the others I need are safely elsewhere
And will be with me when they want

Despising noise pollution
Silence is what I seek
Only with music by my side
As pensive as I become
To close my eyes
Envision the infinite
Thoughts churning in circles
Relaxed as a vine

The wind gently wisps against my shoulders
Sitting in a bench
In the middle of a park
Free from a worry in the world
Only me and the art coming from my fingers
And from the painted side
Filled with stories of wisdom
Spewing out to enlighten and empower others
Not for me to selfishly hold within
My heart shares what it must
Never with a drop of hate

Nothing can stop me now
I am the most powerful
As strong as I say I am
Doing what I want
No one can hold me back
As many verbal attacks as they chuck in my face
I shout it out with ease
Pouring my emotions into a string of words artistically tied together
For others to see
And feel inspired by my verbal patterns
Filling me with undiscovered emotions
Desperately needed by me
Just like a rainbow is needed

Some is only to be discovered in solitude
Sitting upon a bench
Different
People can observe all they want
Dish out any creative remark
As I mind my own business
Only building internal empathy
To use as a mystical power
Always yearning to help and uplift the weak minded
Inserting them with analytical thought
With a touch of optimism
Because I decided to play my own game
I was blessed with the power of an extra sense
To be able to read people's vibes
To learn about how humans and the complex minds work within everybody
They can only echo within my skin
Not audible to any unless verbally dispelled through my smile

Solitude not having negative connotations
Being something positive
Enabling the strong to be pensive
Thinking for themselves
Acting as an independent adult
Crossing through the tough transition to the other side
Broken I am never
Selective I am
The highest of standards upheld
Only few understand this notion
Of the meaning of different
Ignorant they are
Only to unleash harm with their bitter lack of an ego
To make others feel weak through their main weakness
The ones who comprehend grab onto the tail of the one
To embark in future wonders

Nonetheless
The only way to discover hidden personal emotions
Is through a power
Discovered by few that is rather helpful
Do or die
In the land of your personal solitude
If you're the chosen one
Than you can follow the hero's path
Discover that special power
Grapple it onto your heart…
Hold on tight
Stand strong
Pretty lady, you got this
You are never lonely, cold, defeated…

Discover the solitude
And you will be on your way to an undiscovered land
Learning a love for your beautiful soul
Able to inspire through experiences
Tough to take
Easy to share
Never to be lost
Always honest through nature
Genuine to all
Observer of kindness
Always tossing negativity in the trash
To fantasize through the stars

It's the only way I can explain
If you don't understand too bad
I'm not a loner, loser, socially awkward person, whatever you wish to call me
I'm just me
Love is the virtue I gravitate towards and embrace
To spread throughout the world
Just latch onto me
I shall do you no wrong
I provide more wonders than error
Give me a chance
I will show you what the power of solitude has brought me
Helping me to shine my light of empathy
And make you the strongest you'll ever see
As long as you believe in the different and embrace the power of the sweetest soul!

Beautiful Noise

This is basically my poetic explanation of what music is... or at least what I think it is. Enjoy!

One random sound that flows like organized, clean, and beautiful noise
Not classified as pollution
But only to be seen as one of life's essential needs
Those who appreciate it have it levitate to their hearts
The ones who don't end up in a circuit of misunderstanding and confusion

Music is an oxymoron of life while utilizing all organic substances to engage creativity
Enabling your mind to explore new dimensions
Like engaging in hallucinations within yourself
Triggering layers of abstract thought process
That pulsate throughout your body

Free of the noise pollution
While envisioning fantasies within your mind
Body numb over its power
Because you don't often get taken away
And it especially enables triumph over struggles

Eluding from the sheer evil
Alluding to a distant language only few truly comprehend
This mystical sound
Makes you lost in a mystical world
No need to resolve what is all natural

Quite ravishing
Lavish sounds from its fruitful beauty
Makes you smile like a sugar high
Makes you cry like a bursting dam
Mends one who is torn

My impulsive writing
Enables you to move
While it flows through my ears
Out onto the screen
Through the glass into the public eye

Such a beautiful noise
Never classify as pollution
A writer has one touch
The listener has another
Both together create the joyous sounds
With the name coined as music
For all to come together within life's common language!

Sacred Sword

This is basically my rendition of what I think our Independence Day should be like... with a little side story of what happened to me during my holiday. Basically, my friend's car broke down and I kindly sat with him in the parking lot where it fried for about 3 hours at night and 3 hours the next morning to wait for his car to get towed. Most people probably wouldn't have the patience to sit in a parking lot for that long with their friend either. So few people realize and appreciate the value of patience. It's a very wonderful trait to have!

Once a year
Our sovereign nation celebrates independence
But how do we celebrate individually?

Some listen to pop culture music being performed
Some have backyard barbecues
Some light fireworks
Some like to party

"oh… mai… gawd… hashtag… 'murica"

People and their crazy catch phrases
But how do you celebrate

Not everything is what it seems
Many are ignorant to the true meaning of freedom
Using immature catch phrases to describe complex concepts
Others can go on their tirades of complying about what the country has done wrong for us
But what has it done right for us?

Does blowing things with a pretty-colored display up signify patriotism
Or does it represent a glorification of what this country truly means…
Blasting our sorrows away
Potentially causing crazy accidents
Indulging in delicious delights

No one expects a spectacular display to spiral out of control
Causing dreadful disasters…

The power of the American dream is to live every day to the fullest
Making the best of every situation
Living like waking up and your lungs filling with air is a blessing

What outlandish thing can happen?
A day of glorious celebration with friends turning into a night in a parking lot?
Why?

You never know what can happen
The unexpected can occur at any time
Optimism needs to be utilized through dreary smoke-filled clouds
Winding away the ashes
Bringing out the fresh air and beauty of daybreak

Did you have to volunteer to help your friend out?
Spending a joyous holiday in a parking lot...
You know you could have just selfishly went back to the party
The standard crowd would
But you are different...

Kindness and patience are commonalities
Only few share this trait
Those who witness it appreciate it and bow down to it
Those who possess it treat it like a sacred sword
Treating it like a virtue

While making this sacrifice
Knowing you're the one providing the comfort
Realizing that people in this country give up more than one night
They sacrifice their life
Just to help
But why don't people always want to help
And why do people always indulge in selfish desires
Ignoring and disregarding all negativity

Seeking the beautifies of simplistic pleasures
Indulging on knowledge from the wise with rough pasts
Thirsty to help
Celebrating freedom
Blessed for what you do have
With a sole purpose
To spread love
And endorse patience
Within the beauty around us!
